#8 Scarlet Begonias

For those unfortunate few who have not had the opportunity to dine there, Scarlet B's is a quaint Italian restaurant in Brunswick, Maine. It's BYOB, thus popular with Sean and the college crowd.


The majority of the time you can see Sean there wolfing down entire garlic cloves and guzzling merlot. Scarlet B's is notorious for bathing its food in garlic, which is why everyone gets wasted there -- to numb the offensively strong breath the patrons produce.


Sean likes to arrive there at closing time -- it adds an element of excitement to his life. The waitress urges him to order quickly and Sean finds the rush he gets from 1. talking to a girl and 2. ordering on the spot, to be irreplicable. And yes, then he consumes unsafe amounts of garlic.


I kid about Sean being there the majority of the time... but seriously, he is.
